About Us

The Vistara Cultural Club of  VTMT  unites a range of artistic pursuits through its Dance Club, Music Club, Photography Club, Instrumental Club, and Tamil Mandram.

  • Step Sync: Explores various dance styles and forms, providing a platform for students to express themselves and perform.
  • Cadence Crew: Supports both vocalists and instrumentalists, encouraging musical growth and collaborative performances.
  • Frame Masters: Focuses on capturing and presenting visual stories, helping students develop their photography skills.
  • Tune Crafter: Offers opportunities for musicians to refine their skills and perform with various instruments.
  • ஔவையார் தமிழ் மன்றம்”: Celebrates Tamil language and culture through events and activities that highlight and preserve its traditions.

Purpose

Participation in cultural activities results in the enhancement of various personal skills and experiences. Engaging in such activities builds confidence, improving self-assurance and effective self-presentation. It also enhances self-awareness and the ability to present oneself well in different settings. Teamwork and collaboration skills are developed, fostering the ability to work effectively with others. Time management and organizational skills are refined, helping individuals manage their time efficiently. Self-discipline is cultivated, leading to greater focus and commitment. Open-mindedness is encouraged, allowing for experimentation with new ideas and perspectives. Communication skills are improved, aiding in clearer self-expression. It is the place where students can showcase what they have got. It helps to discover their talent. Cultural events include competitions such as instrumental, singing, dance etc. Every year this club organizes activities such as Talent Hunt, Fresher’s Party, Farewell, Fest and Alumni Meet.

The mission of the club is to spread awareness, understanding, and appreciation of a particular culture, its people, diversity, and values and also to prepare students for real life by strengthening their personal skills.
