About IETE:

The Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE) is a leading professional society devoted to the advancement of science and technology of “Electronics, Telecommunications and IT”.

The basic aim and objective of IETE is to promote the general advancement of Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Information Technology and allied subjects & application of these and to facilitate the exchange of information and ideas on these subjects amongst IETE members.

Our college started the IETE chapter in the year of 2010.The inaugural function was presided by Dr.T.G.Venkatesh Department of ECE,IIT,Chennai. To enhance the quest for knowledge, technical seminars, workshops and guest lectures were conducted through sponsorship from IETE. Moreover, IETE has facilitated with technical chairs in association with the technical conferences organized in our college. Our college was awarded with the “IETE ISF Award” in the year 2012 for the best active IETE ISF of Chennai centre. Also a total of 631 students and 10 faculty members have enrolled as members in IETE since inception.
